God created us to be in community and to do ministry together. The Gathering believes that when we partner in ministry, there is a sense of belonging, deeper connection and vibrancy as a part of the community. We don't use the word 'member' because we feel that our connection is greater than that.
Being a Ministry Partner is about using your God-given gifts to help us fulfill the God-given vision that we've been entrusted to in this sacred and safe place that is The Gathering.
OUR MINISTRY PARTNERS
Here's what it means to be a Ministry Partner:
* Use your voice, your network, your platforms and your voting voice to partner with us in addressing the social justice priorities of The Gathering - racial equity, LGBTQ equality and dismantling PMS (patriarchy, misogyny and sexism)
* Be consistent in attending the worship celebration in person and/or viewing online and actively participating (for example, active participation for online viewers means joining in the online engagement, leaving comments, sharing posts, etc.)
* Be a consistent financial supporter of The Gathering (give as God leads you in supporting and ensuring that we are able to continue doing the liberative and transformative justice ministry so that people can experience healing and wholeness)
* Share your God-given talents with The Gathering (serve as a liturgist or write the liturgy; ministry through song, instrumentation, spoken word, praise dance; live sketching during the worship, etc.)
