In 2026, The Gathering commits to shaping a faith that shows up in real life. Building New Tables: Bringing Heaven to Earth calls us to create spaces where justice, dignity, joy, and shared power are not ideas but daily practices. This theme pushes us to confront systems that exclude and to design communities where every voice is respected and every body is safe. When we build new tables, we refuse the old ones that thrive on hierarchy, scarcity, and silence. Instead, we choose cooperation, collaboration, repair, creativity, imagination, and love rooted in a womanist vision of a just future.
